LETTERWARD! is free to play, and the site itself does not collect personal information about you.
Storage on Your Device
Your browser stores:
- game progress
- statistics
- your sync code (if generated)
This information remains on your device unless you choose to use syncing. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser storage.
If You Use a Sync Code
LETTERWARD! stores limited gameplay data through Supabase so your progress and statistics can sync across devices. This includes:
- your sync code
- puzzle date
- win/loss result
- wrong letters used
- star rating
The sync code is a randomly generated identifier and is not connected to your name, email address, or identity.
What LETTERWARD! Does Not Collect
LETTERWARD! does not collect:
- your name
- your email address
- passwords
- biometric information
- personal profiles
Analytics
LETTERWARD! uses Google Analytics to measure overall site traffic, such as page views, session duration, and approximate location. Google may set cookies for this purpose. This data is used to understand how the game is used, not to build advertising profiles. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Ads and Cookies
LETTERWARD! uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize ads. You can manage advertising settings through:

Your Choices
You can play LETTERWARD! without generating a sync code. In that case, your gameplay data remains only on your device.
You may request deletion of synced gameplay data by emailing developer@letterward.com. Please include your sync code in the request.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the update will be reflected here and noted within the game interface.
